The Okayama Prefectural Branch of the Society for the Preservation of Japanese Art Swords is undertaking a project to restore votive swords that have rusted, with the aim of restoring them for future generations.

How Your Support Will Be Used

Polishing Costs
The polishing of the ōdachi by Inoue Kyūbē Masatoshi
The polishing of the katana by Bizen no Kuni jū Osafune Genbēnojō Sukesada

This project will be carried out on a Keep-it-All basis.
As the project will proceed regardless of whether the funding target is met, we regret that refunds or cancellations cannot, in principle, be accepted once a contribution has been made.

Should any surplus funds remain, they will be donated to the sword culture promotion activities of the Bizen Osafune Japanese Sword Museum.
